Shelley Darlene Melies Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shelley Darlene Melies of Brule, Nebraska, who passed away on May 22, 2026 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Shelley has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Martinez and Carol Martinez (Lucas); and her sister Donna Schofield. She is survived by: her husband Wade; her sons, Ken Melies (Lisa) and Mark Melies (Jamie); and her brothers, Tom Martinez and Mark Towne (Bonnie). She is also survived by grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
