With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rosa Lee Stara of Bruno, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 30, 2026 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rosa Lee Stara to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Kriz and Margaret Kriz (Navratil); her grandsons, John and Brian Stara; and her sisters-in-law, Kay Kriz and Paula Kriz.
She is survived by: her husband Donald A. Stara; her children, Kevin Stara (Betsy) of David City, Loran Stara (Julie) of Lincoln, Cindy Thomas (Glenn) of Frisco and Lyle Stara (Angie) of Waverly; and her brothers, Dean Kriz (Lynelle), Jean Kriz (Char) and Dennis Kriz. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be directed towards St. Gregory the Great Seminary in Seward, Aquinas Catholic School, or St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
