She is survived by: her siblings, Joanne Roedel of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Larry Ruppert (Lynda) of McCook; her sisters-in-law, Doris Ruppert of McCook, Twila Johnson of Stockville and Lavonne Hinton of Willows, California.; and her siblings' children, Kathy Siltzer (Randy) of Cheyenne, Karen Terrell of Breckenridge, Mike Roedel (Anna Warm) of Savannah, Georgia, Donald Ruppert, Jr. (Diane) of McCook, Jeffrey Ruppert (Angie) of McCook, Susan Hagan (Bruce) of Culbertson, Patricia Leibrandt of McCook, Peggy Messinger (Kirk) of McCook, Cherri Lashley (Marty) of McCook, Dixie Honn (Tim) of McCook, Jackie Sayer (Kris) of Hershey, Levi Ruppert (Frances) of Jacksonville, Paul Johnson (Gail) of Stockville, Bill Johnson (Theresa) of Lincoln, Tamara Jerd (Mike) of California, Rod Johnson of Firth and Brock Hinton (Nancy) of California.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lockenour-Jones Mortuary - Cambridge Lockenour (604 Penn St, Cambridge, NE 69022). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Curtis Methodist Church (412 Center Ave, Curtis, NE 69025).
Memorials are suggested to the family of Carol Max for future designation.
