He was predeceased by: his birth mother Lucille; his son Robert M. Druse; his son-in-law Michael Hoberty; and his brother Ted Gushard. He is survived by: his wife Marcia L. Musil; his children, Charles R. Jr. (Laura), Mary Hoberty, Jim (Tracey) and Tom (Lori); his grandchildren, Mitch Walker (Bethany), Cassidy Erickson (Chris), Austin Druse (Hanna), MacKenzie Hansen (Travis), Madison Druse (John Magruder), Jenifer Kinner (Jon), Cameron Druse (Sydney), Schyler Hoberty, Ben Hoberty, Gavin Druse and Emily Druse (Morgan Conner); his great grandchildren, Palmer Erickson, Thatcher Erickson, Lennox Walker, Elisha Kinner, Titus Kinner, Naomi Kinner, Lydia Kinner, Michael Druse and James Druse; and his brothers, Tom Gushard (Ima) and Robert Gushard (Beth).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lockenour-Jones Mortuary - Cambridge Lockenour (604 Penn St, Cambridge, NE 69022). A rosary will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (705 Shole Ave, Cambridge, NE 69022). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Chuck's name are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to a charity of the donor's choice.
