He was predeceased by : his parents, Clement and Elisabeth (Ostdiek); his wife Jean Ohlson; his daughter Janet Davis; his grandchildren, Bryan Miller, Shelly Ann Witte, Abby Witte and Ryan Witte; and his siblings, Elvin Witte (Charlotte), Gilbert Witte (Ruth), Herb Witte (Lucille), Wilber (Viola), Arthur Witte (Agnes), Edwin Witte, Irene Kubik (Francis), Vera Laughlin (Bob) and Pat Young (Gene).
He is survived by : his children, Barbara Phillips (Duane) of Cambridge, Brenda Miller (Mark) of Cambridge, Sharon Evans (Kelly) of Cambridge, Steven Witte (Connie) of Cambridge, Roger Witte (Nan) of Cambridge and Mark (Deb) of Castle Rock, CO; and his son-in-law Larry Davis. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
In Lieu of flowers the family has asked memorials be left in Jerry's name to Pro Life.
