He is survived by: his friend George; his wife Rosemary Towey of Cedar Rapids, NE; his children, Edward (Jaimie) of Cedar Rapids, NE and Lori Ransen of Norfolk, NE; his grandchildren, Alyssa, George Beister, Lucas and Cole Ransen; his siblings, Jim Beister of Albion, NE, Dorothy Ballweg (Don) and Margaret Remm of Columbus, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Marge Beister of Columbus, NE, Pat Kolm of Cedar Rapids, NE and John Towey (Sheila) of Cedar Rapids, NE. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
