She was predeceased by : her brother Edmund Tworek; her husband Karl Koziol; her children, Carolyn, Cathryn Koziol and Lenny Koziol; and her siblings, Stanley Tworek (Mary), Ted Tworek (Rose), Ben Tworek (Josephine), Leonard Tworek, Frances Zoucha (Louis), Florence Tognetti (Anso), Bernadette Deveney (Jack), Anne Driscoll (Eugene) and Gertrude Ciurej (Edward).

She is survived by : her sons, Ken Koziol (Corey) of Lincoln, NE, Andrew Koziol of Fullerton, NE and John Koziol (Rhonda) of Albion, NE; her grandson Vincent Koziol (Jenna); her great grandchildren, Hank and Allie; her grandchildren, Clay Koziol and Lana Bender (Gage); her great grandchildren, Kyah and Luka; her grandsons, Calvin Koziol (Kaitlyn) and Mark Koziol (Wendy); her great grandchildren, Payton and Nolan; her granddaughter Natalie Menzel (Austin); her great grandchildren, Cooper, Clara and Milo; and her grandchildren, Eli Koziol and Trae Koziol.

It was Theresa's wish to donate her body for medical study.
