He was predeceased by: his parents, Gifford McManigal and Blanche McManigal (Ruid); his son Tom McManigal (Kay); his grandchildren, Andrea Kotrous, Chad and Christopher McManigal; his siblings, Bub, Bill, Phil, Jack, Vern, Geraldine Holan (Lucille Bartling) and Betty Suhr (Joan Sivers); his parents-in-law, Bill and Mae Glover; and his siblings-in-law, Bernard Glover (Jim Glover) and Betty Rayer (Shirley Fisch).

He is survived by: his wife Geneva June Glover; his children, Mike McManigal (Monica) of Verdigre, Mary Ketelsen (Dale) of Center, Rick McManigal (Susie) of Center and Jeff McManigal (Carolyn) of Center; his grandchildren, Alisha Bartling (Tim), Michael Shad McManigal (Melanie), Kory McManigal (Ashley), Melissa Ebel (Dan), Brett McManigal (Jessica), Adam McManigal (Taylor), Kylee McManigal, Darrell Kotrous (late Andrea Kotrous), Eric Ketelsen (Julie), Samantha Ketelsen, Cody Ketelsen (Ashley), Jenny Fuchtman (Kyle), Matt McManigal (Jessica), Michelle Ninemire (Dustin), Amanda Hoferer (Matt), Carrie Williamson (Aaron) and Jake McManigal (Emily); and his sister Virginia Buerman. He is also survived by 45 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
