She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles T. Hawkins and Grace L. Hawkins (Orr); her husband George "Joe" Lee Bourg; her granddaughter Allison Gimpel; her brother Charles Hawkins (Denise); and her children, Robert Bourg (Barb) of Lawrence, Theresa Fielder (Vern) of Aurora, Susan O'Brien (Mike) of Norfolk and Leanne Gimpel (Greg) of Aurora, Nebraska.
She is survived by: her siblings, Coralee Ulrich, Thomas Hawkins (Catana) and John "Jack" Hawkins (Tara). She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Pleasant View Bible Church.
