He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Wegner and Beulah Wegner (Clausen); and his siblings, Dick Wegner and Candice Wegner. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Meyer of Central City; his children, Michael Wegner (Olga) of Central City and Mikayla Deckinger (Nathan) of Overland Park, KS; his grandchildren, Logan and Maleah Deckinger of Overland Park, KS; his sister Coral Wegner of Hastings; and his nieces and nephews, Gabe Troester of Hastings and Kylie Way (Mike).
Memorials are suggested to Nebraska Christian School and family choice.
