It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Dale Hedges of Central City, Nebraska, who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father George; his wives, Barbara Norgard and Bernadine; his brothers, John D Hedges of Albuquerque, NM, Wayne Hedges of Pontiac, IL and Gerry Hedges of Oklahoma City; his stepdaughter Anita Bolling; his sisters-in-law, Marge Hedges of Pontiac, IL and Kay Hedges of Oklahoma City; his grandson Kevin Riblett Jr.; his great grandchildren, Hunter Hawthorne and Ambrose Joseph Bolling; and his sons-in-law, Terry Dallege and Morgan Woode.
He is survived by: his daughter Marciel Mae; his caregiver Lani Sawyers; his daughters, Melanie Riblett of Omaha, NE, Marceil Fousek (Randy) of Prescott Valley, AZ, Kay Grosshans (Doug) of Plattsmouth, NE and Kelly Melson (Kirk) of Kearney, NE; his stepchildren, Laura Dallege of Waverly, Char Bolling of St, Paul, Chris Gramberg of Central City, Russ Bolling (Iva) of Grand Island, Tim Bolling (Sandy) of Central City, Hanna Hawthorne (Tom) of Central City, Andy Bolling (Denise) of Ravenna, Matt Bolling (Marcia) of Central City, Mark Bolling (Kim) of Hackettstown, NJ and Trish Bolling of Grand Island, NE.; his brother Ned Hedges (Eola) of Lincoln; his sister-in-law Clarice Hedges of Albuquerque, NM; his grandchild Royle; Greg and Sandy Royle. He is also survived by grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and many dear nieces and nephews.
