It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Glenda Jean Glines of Central City, Nebraska, who passed away on December 2, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Laws and Zelda Mae Laws (Brown); her husband Arnold Glines; and her brothers, John Laws and James Spears.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel (Annie Glines), Dennis Glines of Central City, Deborah (Bruce Schweitzer), Valerie (Phil Rathjen) and Jacqueline (Kent Maaske); and her brother-in-law Arthur Glines of Central City. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Jacobsen-Greenway-Dietz Funeral Home (411 O St, St Paul, NE 68873). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the United Methodist Church (1320 Baxter St, St Paul, NE 68875). A burial will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at the Elmwood Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
