He is survived by: his children, Paul Lemburg (Johna) of Oakland, IA, Rachael Emeterio of Red Oak, IA, Chiann Jones of Omaha, NE, David Cole of Omaha, NE, Joshua Cole of Grand Island, NE, Michelle Carey of Grand Island, NE and Teri Walrath of Omaha, NE; and his siblings, Leah Herndon of Las Vegas, NV and John Schuetze Jr. (Rhonda Thomas) of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Central City Cemetery (1923 NE-14, Central City, NE 68826).
