He was predeceased by: his sister Darienne Raye Gillette (Denny). He is survived by: his sister Melinda Sue Gillette of Denver; his wife Carrie; his children, Rebecca of Denver and Kiki of Kimball, NE; and his stepson Nathaniel of Hay Springs, NE. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
A burial was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Black Hills National Cemetery (20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785).
