He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry Pinkerton and Loretta Pinkerton (Lecher); his wife Judith Pinkerton; his daughter Beverly Mintken; and his great grandchild Krysteena Marie Deschamps.

He is survived by : his son Marcus Snyder (Cathy); his granddaughter Robin Scarrow (Vernon); his son Donald Ray Pinkerton (Donna); his granddaughter Bobbi Deschamps (Scot VanLuvan); his son Larry Pinkerton; his grandson Orrin Pinkerton; his son-in-law Wayne Mintken; and his grandchildren, Melissa Fox (Dave Lewis), David Fox (Anne) and Victoria Mintken. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and many friends.
