He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Soester and Ruby Soester (Randall); his wife Edda Mae Huntley; his grandson Cole; his sister Carol Stolldorf; his brothers-in-law, Donny Garner, Russell Hack and Dale Reinmuth; his nephew Wade Hack; Ronald.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Crawford Community Building (1005 Main St, Crawford, NE 69339). A burial was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Crawford City Cemetery (135 Elm St, Crawford, NE 69339).

Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to Bethel Church, PO Box 174, Chadron, NE 69337.
