He was predeceased by : his parents, Franklin Keim and Tracy Keim; his wife Martha Ann; his children, Larry Keim, Juanita Hottell and Leanna Jackson; his son-in-law Larry Wilhoit; and his siblings, Alvin, Erwin, David Keim, Kathryn Peak and Annalee Coday.

He is survived by : his sisters, Edna Whaley and Ravay Kleeb of Broken Bow; his children, Loren Keim (Mary Alice) of Palmyra, NY, Beverly Wilhoit of Scottsbluff, Harvey (Deb) of York, NE and Bruce (Keith) of Rapid City, SD; and his sons-in-law, Dave Hottell of Kimball and Jim Jackson of Chadron. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, special-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established for the Chadron Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. Donations may be sent in care of Chamberlain Chapel, P.O. 970, Chadron, NE 69337.
