He was predeceased by : his parents, Aloysius Niehues and Clara Niehues; his wife Marlene "Marty" Niehues; and his brothers, David and Mark.
He is survived by : his grandson Mathew; his children, Nikki Niehues and Matt Niehues (Lacey) of Chadron; his stepchildren, Mari Rous (Denis) of Martin, SD, Rick Shedeed of Rushville, NE and Stephanie Gottwald (Leonard) of Hastings, NE.; his grandchildren, Justine Taylor, Emilia Niehues and Trinity Niehues of Chadron; his siblings, Joann Hull (Dan), Glenn Niehues (Beverly) and Dennis Niehues (Julie); his sister-in-law Barb Niehues of Alliance; and his close friend John Craig.
