We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2022, at the age of 99, Neva Schmid of Chappell, Nebraska, born in Nelson, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, John J. Lehn and Emma Lehn (Petz); her husband Sgt. Kenneth H. Schmid; her son Lonnie; her siblings, Lawrence, Leonard, Alice Higgins and Laura Terry; and her cousin Ruth Wise.
She is survived by : her son Jon (Jane) of North Platte; and her grandchildren, Jennifer, Travis and Tadd. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; 2 step-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in Neva's name to be designated at a later date.
