He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Neel and Doris Neel (Beck); his brother Don; his sister-in-law Jean; and his in-laws, Alfred and Rita Sweet.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Sweet of Paul's Lutheran Church; his daughters, Cammie Sindelar (Doug) of Waverly, Kelly Halleen (Steve) of Lincoln and Corinne Neel of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Brett Halleen (Traci), Nicolas Halleen (Jena), Grant Sindelar and Brooke Sindelar; and his brother Ron Neel (Judi) of Castle Pines, Colorado..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Solt-Wagner Funeral Home (1507 17th St, Central City, NE 68826). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (820 G St, Central City, NE 68826). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bureau Cemetery Near Pierce Chapel (1950 X Rd, Clarks, NE 68628).
Memorials are suggested the St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Bureau Cemetery.
