We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Jerry D. Adamson of Cody, Nebraska. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmet Adamson and Helen Adamson (Newberg); his son Monte Adamson; his parents-in-law, Wayne and Carrie Marshall (Wright); his stepfather-in-law Earl Schufeldt; and his brother-in-law Gordon Marshall.

He is survived by: his wife Deloris Marshall (Dee); his children, Todd Adamson (Stacey), Tracy Olson (Kirk), Taylor Adamson (Kerri) and Tanya Storer (Eric); his grandchildren, Dayna Wasserburger (Trey), Caitlyn Jacobson (Pat), Jayde Winkelbauer, Braden Storer (Alyssa), Emmet Storer, Hailey Storer, Lindsay Taylor (Kelly), J. T. Adamson, Sydney Coffield (Chadron), Jakob Adamson (Courtney) and Payton Adamson; his great grandchildren, Westyn, Wacey, Gwyn, Gentry Wasserburger, Sage Winkelbauer, Hazel Jacobson, Lewis, Eowyn Storer and Thane Adamson; his brother Rex Adamson (Evalyn); his sibling's children, Brad Adamson (Kim), Bart Adamson (Kelly), Bret Adamson (Velda) and Angel Davis (Greg); and his godchildren, Gordon Coble (Lori), Ardith Seaman (Billy) and Aimee Wilkins (James). He is also survived by numerous cousins, great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sandoz Chapel of the Pines (90125 Hatchery Rd, Valentine, NE 69201). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Valentine Methodist Church (804 E 5th St, Valentine, NE 69201).

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to "Jerry Adamson Memorial Scholarship" which the family will use to support and promote youth in the field of agriculture.

Myron Danner wrote a sympathy message

“One of my fondest memories of Jerry took place summer, 1976. We had been to a neighborhood branding and stopped to check on Larry Hollers heifers. To his dismay, a mature Charolais bull was with them!! Jerry decided that bull needed to go back where he belonged. So he jumped out and roped the bull. He dropped to the ground and with the help of 4 cowboys, we managed to stop the bull and dally him to the suburban. We drug an angry bull half mile to his place. Super cowboy had saved the day!!”
