Ardven Malchow Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ardven Malchow of Colon, Nebraska, who passed away on April 27, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ardven may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Malchow and Clara Malchow (Mumm); his sister Arvona Cleaver (Malchow); and his wife Kathryn Malchow (Smith). He is survived by: his children, Suzanne (Allen Forkner) of Lincoln and Brett (Danielle Malchow) of Hastings; and his grandchildren, Luke and Cora of Hastings.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for designation to the causes Ardven loved and supported.
