It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roma Jean Engdahl of Colon, Nebraska, who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roma Jean Engdahl to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd A. Swanson and Ethel Swanson (Carlson); her husband Carrol Engdahl; her sister-in-law Jean Swanson; and her in-laws, Paul Kellogg (Vernelle), Chuck Lundquist (Ilene) and Keith Berquist (Mary).
She is survived by: her brother Larry Swanson; her children, K. C. Engdahl (Zoe) and Cara Olson (Stan); and her grandchildren, Kristyna Engdahl (Eric Hinze), Aidan Heim and Jeremy Birch (Terri). She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Nebraska Masonic Home (1300 Avenue D, Plattsmouth, NE 68048).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Nebraska Masonic Home or Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Elkhorn.
