He is survived by: his wife Nancy Saalfeld of Columbus, NE; his sons, John Philip Saalfeld (Cynthia) of Mill Valley, CA and Daniel Arden Saalfeld of Washington, D. C.; and his sister Dolores Sander of Columbus, NE..
