It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Molacek of Columbus, Nebraska, who passed away on February 9, 2026, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Buckendahl and Mary Jane Buckendahl (Wainscott); her husband Randy Molacek; her great grandchild Mariah Cummings; her siblings, Lloyd Buckendahl, William Buckendahl Jr. (Anne), Phyllis Spath (Harlan "Bud") and Arlene Spath (Warren); and her siblings-in-law, Joe Molacek (JoAnn), Palma Schwartz (Bud), Adella Schutt (Bob) and Lloyd Molacek (Katherine).
She is survived by: her daughter Bonnie Bierman (Bob) of Columbus, NE; her grandchildren, Brian Bierman (Becky), Jaime Cummings (Ryan) and Hollie Kelley (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Jenna, Tyrian, Brayden, Jayden and Savanna; her grandchildren, Shane Wurdeman (Asha), Sara Keiser (Mike) and Jordan Wurdeman (Carmen); her great grandchildren, Uma, Vik and Scarlett; Jolene Wurdeman (Rich) of Bennington, NE. She is also survived by Many nieces & nephews.
