He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Wagner and Lillian Wagner (Schlabs); his brother Darold; and his granddaughter-in-law Erin Wagner. He is survived by: his wife Alison Wagner; his son Steve Wagner (Marisue); his grandchildren, Amie Lassek (Bruce), Daniel Wagner (Brenda) and Misty Binau; his great grandchildren, Abbie Lassek and Jack Lassek; and his siblings-in-law, Steve and Kristi Wilch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Federated Church or St. Jude's Children Hospital.
