With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Stuart of Columbus, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2025 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Konwinski and Catherine Konwinski (Beck); her husband Charles Stuart; her daughter-in-law Terri Stuart; and her siblings, Frank Konwinski and Betty Szatko.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Stuart of Columbus, Brian Stuart (Paula) of Columbus and Chad Stuart of Columbus; and her sisters-in-law, Virginia Konwinski, Mary Rakowsky and Judy Stuart. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren 5 Great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A vigil service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the McKown Funeral Home (2922 13th St, Columbus, NE 68601). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (562 17th Ave, Columbus, NE 68601).
