It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher J Gronenthal of Columbus, Nebraska, who passed away on November 23, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gronenthal and Carolyn Gronenthal (Trybus); his siblings, Jeff Gronenthal, Jennifer Gronenthal and Emily Gronenthal; his nephew Cory Gronenthal; and his niece Delaney Engel.

He is survived by: his son Jeremy Gronenthal (Karla) of Aurora, NE; his grandsons, River and Leland Onehorn; his siblings, Kevin Gronenthal (Pam) of Platte Center, NE, Tim Gronenthal (Kara) of Humphrey, NE, Dave Gronenthal (Melinda) of Talmage, NE, Tina Gronenthal of Norfolk, NE and Meghan Gronenthal (Rose Larson); and his pet Jax. He is also survived by Nieces and nephews.
