He is survived by: his son Don (Rola Bazzi-Gates); his grandchildren, Dr Ali Bazzi (Phoenix), Amanda and Adam of Northville; and his siblings, Edgar Gates of Columbus, NE., Virginia Gates and Henry C Gates, Jr..
