It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Czarnick of Columbus, Nebraska, born in Guide Rock, Nebraska, who passed away on April 25, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilber Scherzinger and Arlene Scherzinger (Remter); and her husband Gerry Czarnick. She is survived by: her children, Cathy Hilmer of Columbus, Diane VanWerden (Paul) of Lincoln, Mike Czarnick (Karen) of Omaha and Nancy Czarnick of Colorado Springs; her grandchildren, Matthew, Mark, Daniel, Kyle, Nathan, Emily, Nick, Rachel, Ava and Charlotte; her great grandchildren, Lillian and Amelia; her sister Sandy Lewis (Sam) of Idaho Falls, ID.; and her sister-in-law Maxine Scherzinger of Vail, AZ.
Brother: Jake Scherzinger, In lieu of plants and flowers, memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
