She was predeceased by: her father Sylvester "Ves" Zuerlein; and her siblings, Joseph Zuerlein, Julie Grace and Deborah "Debbie" Schraer. She is survived by: her husband Bruce Schneider of Columbus; her son Brian Schneider (Courtney) of Papillion; her grandsons, Preston and Greyson Schneider; her daughter Michelle Mueller (Josh) of Columbus; her grandchildren, Graeme Mueller, Lauren and Natalie Mueller; her mother Rosemary Zuerlein Moore (Preister) of Columbus; and her siblings, Peter Zuerlein (Karen) of Bellwood, Margaret "Peg" Graf (Tim) of Columbus and Mary Emanuel (Brad) of Wichita.
