He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Long and Clara Long (Blair). He is survived by: his wife Beverly Long (Morisch); his children, Connie Peterson (Allen), Sherry Karlin (Ric), Sandy Martensen (Wayne) and Richard Long (Jennifer Humphries); and his siblings, June Everhart (Don), Earl Long (Patsy) and Arnold Long. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
