She was predeceased by: her parents, George Louis and Ethel Louis (Rice) of Mary's Hospital; her husband Don; her in-laws, Delila and Edward Mueller; her sisters, Betty Hecker (Erwin) and Mary Jane Bryant; her nephews, Mark Hecker and Gregory Fast; and her great-niece Erin Johns.
She is survived by: her sister Carol McDermitt; her sibling's children, Peggy Reese (Mike), Mary Johns, Vicky Filley (Dale), Steven Hecker and Michael Hecker (Jeanie); Dee Mueller (late Gayle), Larry, Marcia Mueller, Travis, Jennifer Gibson, Mike, Sandy Killian, Jack and Marla Mitchell. She is also survived by 16 great-nieces and nephews, and 32 great-grand nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Luke's United Church of Christ (1072 21st Ave, Columbus, NE 68601).
