He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wilhelm Schroeder and Emma Sophia Menke Schroeder; and his sisters, Marceline (Mark Foltz) and Lorraine (Robert Held). He is survived by: his wife Alfreda Stute; his children, Ann (Grant) of Joplin, Diana (Pat) of Parker and Kyle (Chrissy) of Fort Thomas Kentucky; his grandchild Keeley (Simon Boever) of Sioux Falls; his great grandchildren, Hartley and Bella; his granddaughter Heidi (Nathan Leddige); his daughters, Payton and Casey of Poulsbo; and his grandchildren, Sam Schroeder of New Jersey, Joey Schroeder of Cincinnati, Niko Dowling of Parker, Kennedy and Sophia Schwartz of Joplin, Missouri.. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
He went to live in assisted-living so they could help with his Alzheimer's.
