He was predeceased by: his parents, George C. Nicolas and Frances L. Nicolas (Theewen); his brother Harold Nicolas; his parents-in-law, John and Minnie Sokol; and his pets, Buddy and Rambo.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sokol; his children, Jeffrey Nicolas (Kathie), Jeanne Wright (Shannon) and Julie Henninger (Scott Sommers); his grandchildren, Ashley Henninger, Nicolas Wright and Abby Ellefson (David); and his siblings-in-law, John Sokol and Nina Nicolas. He is also survived by five nieces, several cousins, and many friends.
In lieu of plants and flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Isidore Parish Center Building Fund.
