As we bid Donald farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Donald is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leona Walton (Foster) and Gerald Walton; and his daughter Carolyn Walton. He is survived by: his daughters, Joyce Martinez of Omaha, NE, Linda Barnett of Salina, KS, Crystal Pearson (Craig) of Hutchinson, KS, Janice Walton of Omaha, NE and Barbara Jean Hain of Fayetteville, NC. He is also survived by Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Gass Haney Funeral Home (2109 14th St, Columbus, NE 68601). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Roselawn Cemetery.
