We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Dorothy Carlson of Columbus, Nebraska, born in Saint Joseph, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lester Krumme and Vivian Krumme (Foster); her husband John Arvid Carlson Jr.; her son Dale Carlson; her son-in-law Dale Hassebrook; and her sister June Harman.

She is survived by : her daughter Gaylene Hassebrook of Columbus; and her daughter-in-law Pat Carlson of Silver Creek.

Due to current COVID-19 health mandates, practice social distancing by maintaining at least 6 feet among attendees, family, staff, and clergy.

Memorials are suggested to the Silver Creek United Methodist Church in lieu of flowers.

Judith Bryan wrote a sympathy message

“We were very sad to hear of Dorothy's passing. We felt she was a member of or family. Even our grandchildren, Cy Wynn and Corby, were saddened to hear it. She was a wonderful woman, who lived a full and happy life. We are happy that we visited her in Columbus before the Virus hit, and had a very enjoyable afternoon. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you during this time. Gerald and Judith Bryan”
