We are sad to announce that, on January 9, 2024, at the age of 82, Edward A Hittner of Columbus, Nebraska, born in Cornlea, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward F. Hittner and Dorothy Hittner (Reinhart); and his siblings, Marilyn and Neal. He is survived by: his wife Mary Hittner; and his children, Karen "Kari" Gleason (Tim) of O'Neill, NE, Brian Hittner (Nikki) of Washington, DC and Andrew "Andy" Hittner (Zoey). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.

In lieu of plants and flowers, the family suggests memorials to Scotus Central Catholic High School or to the wishes of the family.
