With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Wennekamp (Columbus, Nebraska), who passed away on April 16, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Arthur Schreiber; her husband Milton Wennekamp of Columbus, NE; her daughter Cheryl Brewer (John) of Columbus, NE; her granddaughters, Hilary Muhle (Craig), Madeline Brewer and Brittany Brewer; her stepgrandchildren, Travis Brewer (Maria), Heidi Perez (Ozzy) and Danielle Garcia (Fernando); her daughter Susan Hellbusch (Kevin) of Creston, NE; her grandchildren, Benjamin Hellbusch (Amanda), Tyler Hellbusch (Jessica), Melissa Freudenburg (Eric) and Aaron Hellbusch; her son Larry Wennekamp (Patti) of Schuyler, NE; her grandchildren, Justin Wennekamp (Keely), Clayton Wennekamp (Rachael) and Katey Stork (Levi); her daughter Sandra Swanson (Jim) of Columbus, NE; her grandchildren, Miranda Swanson and Wyatt Swanson; her stepgrandchildren, Trenton Swanson and Katie Swanson; her son Jim Wennekamp (Trish) of Battle Creek, NE; her grandson Taylor Wennekamp (Ciara Kilpatrick); her stepgrandsons, Landon Ziemba (Alisha), Lukas Ziemba and Jaden Ziemba; her sister Erma Nelson (Leland) of Genoa, NE; her sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Schreiber of Columbus, NE and Millie Wennekamp of Columbus; her mother Katherine Schreiber Sr.; her brothers, Arthur Schreiber Jr. and Carroll Schreiber; her sister-in-law Alice Schreiber; and her parent-in-law Reinhold. She was also cherished by 19 Great Grandchildren 16 Step Great Grandchildren.
