It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Zimmerer (Columbus, Nebraska), who passed away on February 24, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zimmerer and Elizabeth Zimmerer (Preister); his son Donald Zimmerer; his great grandchild Forrest Davis; and his siblings, Herman, Paul, Elmer, Norbert Zimmerer, Clara Pfeifer, Dorthea Ackerman, Mirella Goedeken, Mildred York, Agnes Zimmerer and Martha Zimmerer.
He is survived by: his children, Michele Wegener (James) of Humphrey, NE, Pamela Cuba (Daniel) of Columbus, NE, Gary Zimmerer (Janet) of Humphrey, NE, James Zimmerer (Shelly) of Columbus, NE and Gregory Zimmerer of Columbus, NE; his sisters, Margarette Massara of Louisiana and Mary Seymour of Omaha, NE; and his niece Geraldine Zimmerer of Columbus, NE. He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren 13 Great-Grandchildren.
