It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fairy Raitt of Columbus, Nebraska, who passed away on September 3, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Fairy leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Pahl and Irma Pahl (Hofere); her husband Richard C. Raitt (Dick); and her siblings, Jim Pahl, Donald Pahl, Leonard Pahl, Dorothy Norwood and Esther Hudson.
She is survived by: her son Merlyn Raitt; and her sisters, Bernice Clodpelter of Kansas City, MO, Lucille Clough of Creighton and Irene Strope of Creighton Many.
