Jeanne E. Went Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanne E. Went of Columbus, Nebraska, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on July 3, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Dasenbrock and Helen Dasenbrock (Callies); her husband Lavern Went; her brothers, Wilbur Dasenbrock (Betty) and Richard Dasenbrock; and her sister-in-law Shirley Boning (Thomas Boning).
She is survived by: her children, Wesley Went (Maribeth) of Leigh, Nebraska, Cheryl Korte (Anson) of Columbus, Nebraska, Audrey Went (Mark Reffner) of Weston, Vermont and Michelle Gish of Frankfort; her sister Ann Podraza (James) of Walnut, Iowa; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Dasenbrock of Omaha, Nebraska and Willard Went (Sharon) of Columbus Nebraska. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be given in Jeanne's memory to KTLX radio station, which was key in allowing Jeanne to continue her worship at Trinity Lutheran Church. Donations can be made directly to KTLX or designated to KTLX and given to the Trinity administrative office.
