In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact JoAnn had on those she encountered along her journey. Though JoAnn may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Art Scholz and Anna Scholz (Rohrich); her husband Stan Hoffer; her brother Gene; and her sister-in-law Linda Scholz (Carter).
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Luke's United Church of Christ (1072 21st Ave, Columbus, NE 68601). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
