He is survived by: his wife Lucy; his children, John David Koopman (Isabel) of San Francisco, CA, Linda Moore (Albin) of Columbus, NE and Joan Kreifels (Bill) of Nebraska City, NE.; his grandchildren, Jessica Silverberg (Ross) of West Linn, OR, Jaimie Medlin (Jake) of Safety Harbor, FL, Allison Weddle (Christopher) of Big Fork, MN, William Kreifels and Jordi Koopman of Arcadia, CA; his great grandchildren, Tessa Jean Weddle, Madison Weddle, Levi, Layton Weddle, Jaxson and Joseph Medlin; his siblings-in-law, Rose and Jim Weldon; his pet Rudi; and his siblings-in-law, Cecilia Stetz (Albin), Ann Hamilton (Jack), Emily Snyder (Rock), Frank Bosak (Phyllis) and Emil Bosak (Evelyn).
