He is survived by: his wife Ruth O'Neal (Husak); his children, John Robert O'Neal II and Kathleen Kruse; his grandchildren, Megan Rathke (Jim Kodad), Blake Kruse (Brooke) and Lance Kruse; his great grandchildren, Kreyton, Brogan and Krofton Kruse; his sister-in-law Shirley Hamernik; his nephews, Tom Hamernik (Paula), Chuck Hamernik (Pam), Mike Hamernik (Jenny) and Michael Smith (Sylvia); and his niece Lelia DeLand.
