He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Merrill and Grace Merrill (Dick); his sons, Anthony Merrill and Matthew Merrill; and his siblings, Bonnie Merrill, Beverly Brandenburger, Max Merrill, Paul Dean Merrill and Allen Merrill.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Merrill (Lori) of Columbus, Heather Merrill of Lincoln and Melissa Merrill (Mindy Kobus) of Colorado Springs, CO; his grandchildren, Devon, Jayla, Tyler and Brooklyn; and his siblings, Barbara Van Dyke (Dale) of Columbus and Jack Merrill (Margaret) of Silver Creek. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
