He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Petermann and Mary M. Petermann (Loeffler); his siblings, Bernard Petermann Jr., Dorothy Lustgraff, Don Petermann and Mary James; and his father-in-law William H. Brandt (Bill).
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Petermann of Columbus, NE; his children, Angela Patras (John) of Omaha, NE, Randall K. Petermann of Columbus, NE, Kara Petermann of Omaha, NE, Micheala Sepulveda of Columbus, NE and Michael Hadcock (Brandi) of Columbus, NE; his sister Rita Gronenthal (Allan) of Columbus, NE; and his mother-in-law Elizabeth Brandt (Betty). He is also survived by Many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the wishes of the family.
