He was predeceased by: his close friend Shawn Schwaller; his father James Rankin; his sister Lori Wunderlich; and his grandparents, Edgar "Chief", Vernell Rankin, Harold and Alwine Larsen.
He is survived by: his children, Jakobi (Chicago) of Lincoln, Shawn of Lincoln, Anastacia of Lincoln and Tanner Rankin of Lincoln; and his mother Connie Lee Sweet.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at 1135 Eastridge Dr, Lincoln, NE 68510.
