Lee Rupp Obituary
In loving memory of Lee Rupp of Columbus, Nebraska, who departed this world on September 20, 2025 at the age of 87. Lee leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Rupp (Schild) and Paul Rupp (Monroe). He is survived by: his wife Kay Rupp (Ditter); his children, Lori Hodtwalker (Bill), Lisa Brestel (Craig) and Mark Rupp (Laura); his grandchildren, Kyle Brestel, Erin Svoboda (Skyler), Colton Rupp and Caitlyn Rupp; and his great grandchildren, McKenna Svoboda and Sage Svoboda.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peace Lutheran Church (2720 28th St, Columbus, NE 68601). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at the American Legion (2263 3rd Ave, Columbus, NE 68601).
In his younger years, he was a volunteer fireman and EMT for the Monroe Fire Department, and a member of the Platte Co. Ag Society and Columbus Hospital Foundation, serving a term as chairman for each.
