With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nichole Rae Hayes of Columbus, Nebraska, born in Norfolk, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 27, 2024 at the age of 44. She was predeceased by: her parent Gerard Shortridge; and her brother-in-law Blaine Hayes. She is survived by: her husband Brante Hayes of Columbus; her children, Gavin Glaser of Columbus, Shelby Glaser of Omaha and Khyler Shortridge of Columbus; her brother Steven Henry of Lincoln; her parents-in-law, Tom and Rose Ann Hayes of David City; her sisters-in-law, Brooke Paxton (Jay) and Jenny Hayes (Columbus); and her uncles, Mike Shortridge (Valerie) and Allan Shortridge (Lee-Anne). She is also survived by family Many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and lots of Friends.
